CLASS 5 Two Wheel Drive Enduro -

BODY
The original silhouette of the body must be retained.
A bullbar may be fitted.
The radiator grille must not be changed and must remain in its original
position.
Maximum permitted variation of the wheelbase is plus or minus 3%.
All interior trim is free.
Roof vents may be fitted in the forward third of the roofs.
Windscreen may be replaced by Perspex, Lexan, polycarbonate or zone
toughened, shatterproof, laminated glass.
Original front door hinges and latches must be retained.
BRAKING SYSTEM
Brake and braking system are free.
The vehicle must have a dual circuit braking system arranged so that in the
event of a leakage at any point in the system the brake pedal shall control
two wheels on the same axle.
CHASSIS
Original chassis, monocoque or sub frame must be retained unchanged.
Engine and transmission mounts and cross members may be removed, relocated
or refurbished.
Material may be added for any purpose.
ELECTRICAL
Original headlamp position must be retained.
Headlamps must be operable.
Tail lamps and stop lamps must be operational.
A dust lamp must be fitted.
ENGINE/TRANSMISSION
The type and location of the engine is free provided it is located in the
same general area as the original.
The original engine/gearbox/final drive configuration in relation to the
body must be retained.
Drivetrain components are free.
Drive shafts must contained so they cannot enter the cabin in the event of
breakage.
FUEL TANK
Additional or replacement fuel tanks may be fitted provided they are vented
to the outside of the vehicle.
A fuel tank must be separated from the occupants by a flame and liquid proof
bulkhead.
ROLL CAGE
A roll cage of at least type 3 must be fitted.
