HELMETS

Each vehicle shall have one helmet per competitor that bears the stamp of and conforms to Australian Standard AS 1688.

For a list of helmets complying standards of other countries consult Schedule D, Section 6 of the CAMS Manual.

Helmets shall not be modified except in accordance with manufacturer's requirements.

Retaining straps shall be fitted with an effective, serviceable and easily-operated release mechanism.
