October 2006| | In only a few short years the GasDash has established itself as the premier long distance course in the country. 501 kilometres of everchanging outback terrain from rough, rocky traverses to sandy riverbed; from steep hills to fast station tracks; from sand dunes to tough unforgiving moonscapes that have to be experienced to be believed. The Gascoyne Dash has it all. The Gascoyne Dash offers a 185 km circuit of challenging racing on Bidgemia Station just north of Gascoyne Junction followed by a 316 km dash down the Lyons and Gascoyne dry riverbeds into the coastal town of Carnarvon. | ||
