FIA World Cup for Cross Country Rallies (includes Cross Country Bajas)
In 2010 the Baja International Cup and CCR World Cup were combined into an eight-event
series renamed the World Cup for Cross Country Rallies. |

Dakar Series After the cancellation of the Dakar in 2008 the Central Europe Rally was created by professional event organiser ASO as a replacement. With the Silk Way Rally and the Pax Rally in
Portugal it is part of the three event Dakar Series. |

NPO Desert Trophy The Egypt Sphinx Rally, the Shamrock Rally (Rally of Morocco) and the Tunisia Rally are the three events in the NPO Desert Trophy. |

New Zealand Between the North and South Island there is a full program of off road racing. The major event is the
Taupo 1000, billed as the longest off road race in the southern
hemisphere. |

North America Events in this part of the world are off road races rather than cross country rallies or bajas.
The most notable event is the Baja 1000 in
Mexico. |

South Africa The South African Off Road Championship comprises eight events.
The South African Absa Off Road
Championship is claimed to be the most competitive national championship
in the world. |

South America This continent has had a long tradition of cross country rallies and since 2009 the biggest of them all, Dakar, has been staged there. |

South East Asia Off Road competitions abound in this region. The main series is the Asian Cross Country Championships. |
