| A Baja is a Cross Country Rally run over 1 or 2 days. In a 1 day Baja the maximum distance is 800 km. The maximum distance for a 2 day Baja is 1200 km. The minimum distance of the Selective Sections in the International Cup for Cross Country Bajas is 400 km. Only vehicles homologated by the FIA in Groups T1 (Improved Cross Country Vehicles), T2 (Cross Country Series Production Vehicles) and T4 (Cross Country Trucks) are eligible. An event of longer duration or distance is known as a Cross Country Rally or Cross Country Marathon.
